About SOAR - Save Our Australian Raptors
The SOAR website has been developed for anyone who would like to learn more about Australia's raptors and the places that they live.
Today, raptors are protected by law but development and farming practices still threaten their habitat. As more and more of the natural environment is cleared for farming or to make way for new suburbs, the wildlife that was living there has to move on, adapt or die.
More than ever before, our wildlife needs our help. We hope the SOAR website will encourage everyone to appreciate and care for our natural world and the amazing creatures in it.
