The following policies, terms, and conditions apply to guests at Eagle Ridge Retreat. Please note that separate terms and conditions apply for visits to the Raptor Refuge.
Booking Policy
Full Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Payments can be made via credit card or Paypal, with a confirmation email sent upon receipt of payment.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 14 days before the check-in date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 7–14 days of check-in will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.
Early Departure/No-Show: Guests who depart early or do not arrive without notice are not eligible for a refund.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: 2:00 p.m. .
Check-out: 10:00 a.m.
Self-check-in details will be provided upon booking. Please be mindful that we do not have a reception or waiting area. For early check-in or late check-out requests, please reach out in advance.
Guest Responsibilities
House Rules: Eagle Ridge Retreat is a smoke-free property. We also do not permit parties or events to maintain the serene environment of the retreat.
Respect for Wildlife: As a nature-centered retreat, we ask guests to refrain from feeding wildlife and to respect all animals encountered on the property. Wandering into restricted areas or the adjacent Raptor Refuge is prohibited.
Pets: Pets are not permitted on the property to ensure the safety of local wildlife.
Liability and Waiver
Wildlife and Outdoor Risks: Guests are advised that Eagle Ridge Retreat is located in a natural bush environment with native wildlife, including snakes. All guests participate in outdoor activities at their own risk. Eagle Ridge Retreat is not responsible for any incidents resulting from wildlife encounters or natural hazards.
Damage or Loss: Guests are responsible for any damage or loss beyond normal wear and tear. While no security deposit is required, Eagle Ridge Retreat reserves the right to charge for repairs, replacements, or additional cleaning if needed.
Health and Safety
Fire Pit Usage: The fire pit is available for guest use, weather permitting. Guests are asked to follow fire safety rules, refrain from leaving fires unattended, and fully extinguish all fires before leaving the area.
Bush Safety: For guests’ safety, we recommend staying on marked paths. Guests are advised not to explore the bushland at night due to wildlife activity.
Environmental Responsibility
Sustainable Practices: As part of our commitment to conservation, we encourage guests to practice eco-friendly habits, including minimizing waste, conserving water, and turning off lights when not in use.
Privacy and Security
Data Protection: Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for your reservation and will not be shared with third parties. We respect your privacy.
Force Majeure
Unforeseen Events: In the event of extreme weather, bushfires, or other unforeseen natural events, Eagle Ridge Retreat will do its best to accommodate guests or offer rescheduling options. However, we are not liable for disruptions or cancellations caused by such events.
